My name is William A. Bautz. Born in New Eagle, Pa and raised here in the mid mon valley. I am a member of St. Andrew the Apostle Parish (Former Transfiguration Church), I went to local parochial schools, California University of Pa and the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science. I began my career in funeral service as a funeral assistant at the L.M. Frye Funeral Home in Monongahela in 1990. I then served my internship at the Burg Funeral Home in Red Lion, Pa., then came home to southwestern Pa. and worked at the Haky Funeral Home in Uniontown, Pa. managed the Gabauer Funeral Home in Rochester, Pa. and worked for Beinhauer Family services at the Bogan-Wolf and Bogan locations. My community memberships include the BPOElks Lodge 455, the Knights of Columbus Council 2600, the Masons and the Sons of the American Legion. I bought the Phillip DeRienzo Funeral Home in August of 2004 and reopened it in January of 2005. I enjoyed serving the people of Donora. With a new location being available, I took the opportunity to move to my hometown and on July 24, 2007, the funeral home at 139 Main Street, New Eagle was ready to serve the public. I love this community and plan to remain here for years to come. I am committed to offering affordable dignified funeral and cremation services to the people of New Eagle and the surrounding area. Viewing this website, you will see where we go above and beyond to meet the needs of our families. You are not just a family we serve; you become part of our family! “A Funeral is not about death, it is a celebration of a life lived.” I am the fourth generation of my family to live here in the Mon Valley and I intend to stay here and serve people.
