Twila Joan Knotts, 80 of Washington, PA Passed away on Wednesday October 6, 2021 at Southmont of Presbyterian Seniorcare in Washington, PA. Born April 25, 1941 in Jollytown, PA, daughter of the late Harvey and Edith (Gump) Six; Beloved wife of the late Deward Knotts Jr.; mother of Cody (Emily) Knotts of Wurtsboro, NY and Christal (Kurt) Haverstock of Beaver, PA; grandmother of Joshua and James Beatty, Nicholas, Winston and Nathaniel Knotts; great grandmother of Kinley Beatty; sister of Peg Thompson and the late David “Bud” Six, Glancey “Pete” Six  and Mary Lou Six. Also survived by her former daughter-in-law Cindy Wildman Knotts with who she was close. Twila loved her family and friends and formerly worked at the Claysville Weekly Recorder Newspaper. Twila was active in her church and community throughout her life and was an avid volunteer at the Washington Senior Center, Christian Outreach, and American Legion. Services are private.
