Sam F. ""Lynn""Henry Jr. 73 of New Eagle passed on Friday December 23, 2016. Born March 18, 1943 in Ft. Jackson, SC; son of the late Sam F. Sr. and Ina Leah (Smith) Henry. Beloved husband of 34 yrs to Lois J. (Widmer) Henry; father of Willa (Robert) Pawlak, Barbara Lupori, James Bradshaw, Charles (Lana) Burgess, Robert (Laura) Burgess and Jennifer (Todd) Raymond; has many grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother of Joe Will Larry (Margaret) Henry and the late Judy Delarge; many nieces and nephews survive. Sam was a Vietnam War veteran serving in the army and worked as a driver for the railroad. He enjoyed playing cards, scrabble, crossword puzzles, and picking up seaglass on Presque Isle in Erie, PA. Friends will be received at the William A. Bautz Funeral Home, 139 Main St. , New Eagle (724-258-8190) on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Service Wednesday in the funeral home 11:30 AM followed by burial at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies with full military honors.
