Roger L. Chamets, 75 of McKeesport passed on February 12, 2011 at Jefferson Hospital. Born July 6, 1935 in Clairton, PA , son of the late Martyn and Julia (Shamya) Shamich. He was preceded in death by his wife Beatrice Chamets and 13 brothers and sisters. He is survived by his children; Kathy DiMieri, Michael Chamets, Bonnie Zimmerman and Dorothy "Dottie" Kosa, 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He was a veteran of the US Army and retired from Fisher Autoworks with over 35 years of service. A memorial service will be held on Monday at 10:00 AM at the William A. Bautz Funeral Home, 139 Main St. New Eagle, PA 15067 (724-258-8190). Inurnment will be in St. Clare Cemetery, Clairton, PA.
