Elizabeth T. Bautz, 90 of New Eagle passed on Monday September 12, 2016. Born January 15, 1926 in New Eagle, daughter of the late Albert J. Sr. and Margaret (Abbott) Bautz; Sister of Margaret G. Bautz of New Eagle, Anna Olson (Late Al) of Castle Shannon, Albert J. II (Susan) Bautz of Hurlock, MD and the late Martha A. Bautz; Aunt of Amy (Don) Osko of Washington, Albert J. Bautz III of Pittsburgh and William A. Bautz of New Eagle, Jennifer (Mack) Astin of Los Angeles, CA, Allison (Jeff) Zerr of Frederick, Md, and Rennie (Dona) Grant of Baltimore, MD; Great Aunt of Katie and Michael Zerr. Betty was a Monongahela High Graduate of 1943 and worked at Christie Park during World War II. She was employed by the Postal service from 1960-1990 and served as postmaster in New Eagle from 1971-1990 when she retired. Her niece Amy and her nephews A.J. and Willie were a big part of her life and was always caring to her family and friends. Visitation Thursday 5-9 PM, William A. Bautz Funeral Home, 139 Main St. New Eagle (724-258-8190). Friday Prayers of Transfer 9:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 AM at St. Damien of Molokai Church, Monongahela, Fr.
