Frederick Cristofori, MD Obituary

Frederick C. Cristofori, MD., 71, of Bowie, MD, formerly of Donora, passed away Sunday November 20, 2005 at his home in Bowie. He was born October 6, 1934 in Donora, the son of the late Florian and Mary Carpe Cristofori. Fred was a graduate of Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia and served his country in the US Navy as a captain and physician. He had a private practice and worked for many medical groups in the Bowie, MD. Area and practiced a total of 44 yrs. Fred was also associated with the National Institute of Health and a senior assistant surgeon for the Reserve Corps. of the US Department of Health and Human Services. He is survived by 3 sons, Jason, Jay and Joshua Cristofori, all of Cumberland MD., and his good friend Joyce Phillips of Bowie, MD. A service will be held in the Monongahela Cemetery Chapel on Wednesday November 23, at 11:00 AM with the Rev. James B. Bailey officiating. Interment to follow in the cemetery.
